⚡ Game On Climate Action Grants · Opens July 2026
The Australian Government is funding energy upgrades at community
sporting clubs. Max Power Electrical prepares the professional
designs, energy assessments and installation quotes your club needs
to apply.
Australian Government grants for community sporting clubs to fund solar, battery storage, LED lighting and EV charging. Applications expected July 2026. Funding is limited.
The Opportunity
Most clubs use the bulk of their electricity in the evening — long after solar has
stopped generating. The right system turns that problem into a real opportunity.
Training, competitions and events all run after sunset. Battery storage lets you power them from solar energy stored during the day — not expensive peak-rate grid power.
Refrigeration, kitchens, bars and HVAC run hard during events. Solar cuts your daytime bills; a battery carries the evening load when grid tariffs are highest.
Commercial electricity bills include demand charges tied to your peak usage window. Battery storage reduces that peak and can eliminate some of the biggest hidden costs on your bill.
Every dollar saved on electricity is a dollar back into junior programs, facility upgrades and reducing the financial burden on your volunteer committee.
What We Install
Everything your club needs to reduce energy costs — and everything the Game On
program is designed to fund.
Grant Eligible
Rooftop solar designed for your facility’s load profile. We size systems to maximise both grant value and long-term savings, and manage all grid connection paperwork.
Grant Eligible
We install leading commercial battery systems including Sigenergy and Enphase — storing daytime solar to power your evening activities. The highest-impact upgrade for most sporting clubs.
Grant Eligible
Replace ageing floodlights with modern LED systems — typically 50–70% less energy, lower maintenance, and better light quality for players and spectators.
Grant Eligible
EV chargers for members and visitors. Paired with solar and battery storage, your club can offer renewable-powered charging and future-proof its facilities.
Grant Support
We review your electricity bills and inspect your site to identify the best upgrades — essential groundwork before lodging a grant application.
Grant Support
Professional, itemised quotations and system specs prepared to meet grant requirements — helping your club submit a thorough, competitive proposal.
The Game On Program
The Game On: Teaming Up for Climate Action program, administered by DCCEEW, provides community sporting clubs with grants to fund energy efficiency and climate resilience projects.
Minimum Grant
Maximum Grant
